Investment Focus

Lessing Advisors acts as a small single family office. Our direct investments are focused on sustainable investments along the 17 Sustainable Develoment Goals. We have a specific focus on impact investments in the voluntary carbon credit area as well as in biochar. We typically invest in angel investment sizes in pre-seed and early stage. For larger investments we are cooperating with family offices and institutional investors.

Unser besonderer Fokus liegt auf Impact Investments im Bereich der freiwilligen CO2 Emissionszertifikate (Voluntary Carbon Credits) und im BioChar Bereich. Wir investieren typischerweise in Angel Investmentgrößen in pre-seed und early stage. Für größere Investitionen  kooperieren wir mit Family Offices oder institutionellen Investoren.

Adam Lessing, Founder and Managing Director of Lessing Advisors has more than 30 years of experience in investment banking and investment management. 

His career includes leadership positions with major global financial institutions Goldman Sachs, Fidelity International, Aviva Investors and AXA IM. He most recently was Member of the Board and Head of Central and Eastern Europe of LGT Bank Austria. 

Adam Lessing has held senior positions in industry bodies including VAIOe (Austrian Association of Foreign Investment Funds), VOeIG (Austrian Association of Investment Funds) and was Vice Chairman of EFAMA (European Funds and Asset Manager Association). 

Adam Lessing is a university lecturer and published book author on sustainable investment and sustainable finance. He is a regular speaker at major industry events and a sworn expert witness on banking matters for Austrian courts.
